NAIC Releases Its Climate Change White Paper
November 29, 2007 – The NAIC Climate Change and Global Warming (EX) Task Force has released its 16-page white paper on “Potential Insurance-Related Impacts of Climate Change on Insurance Regulators.” Among other things, the paper recommends that the NAIC create a working group under the Financial Condition (E) Committee to develop interrogatories and other tools to evaluate the risks that climate change will have across multiple lines of insurance. more...
