President Bush Offers Bold Energy Initiatives in State of the Union Address
President Bush has called for bold new energy initiatives in his State of the Union address that he says will result in a 20 percent reduction in U.S. gasoline usage over the next 10 years.

To help reach that goal, the President is advocating new average fuel economy standards for automobiles and a mandatory fuels standard of 35 billion gallons of renewable and alternative fuels by 2017.  more...
